A present from Saul under my pillow tonight.

It is odd to be back home from Wexford and not to have photographed anything until tonight. The busy tasks like washing and putting everything away seems to have taken over. I feel oddly disconnected as a result.

Day 10

Last bite to eat before heading home. Wonderful holiday!

Its so lovely to see our boys barefoot and in shorts. I'm seeing a definite advantage of life in Australia. Life without socks for most of year! Its also been bizaar to suddenly have Saul potty trained. There's so little washing! As he has always worn cloth nappies, I would take him to bed with a football bum and he would feed throughout the night and wake up saturated. I'd have to give him a clean vest and everything had to be washed. Then he had no nappy, but where did all the wee go? Its one of the strangest mysteries in my life!

Who can catch Dad?

Lovely friends to share the beach.

Off to the beach

Saul decided he was cold and needed a jacket, a hat and gloves for the beach! By the time he reached the cliff walk he spotted puddles and was naked!

Day 8

Happy Birthday Tara.

We walked back to the beach again with our friends Morganna and Tara, kids walking barefoot through puddles and celebrated Tara's 4th birthday At Baginbun. Its a magical place in the dark.

The flask here is one of my favourite things, and always makes me smile.. And everything tastes so much nicer from a happy place!
