As Michael was fishing and everyone had cabin fever due to the rain, we went for a mystery drive. Each of the boys chose a direction, and in a bizaar way we ended up back where we started from. But it could have gone any way! Aubrey and I longed for the beach in the rain, but with a little tot in his pj's and another with an injury I settled for home. Reluctantly! I have vivid childhood memories of Laytown Beach, sometimes in the rain and in the harsh winter days. Of looking for shells and driftwood in my College of Art days. Something so raw in my Memories. I Love the sensation of being wet and surrounded by water.
