Wishing everyone a Happy New year.

These photos were taken this morning
in the garden. Lots of frost, and it puzzles
me that the roses are still in bloom!

St Stephen's day

Daddy to the rescue!

We have a family tradition of heading to Donadea Forest Park on St. Stephen's Day.

Off we head with flasks of hot chocolate and marshmallows and our winter wollies and meet up with friends to share a picnic. Today's goodies included smoked salmon and brown bread, mince pies, gingerbread cookies made by Tara and Rose.

We mentioned getting the recipe, and Eoghan said, 'the first thing you need is bread, and the next thing is Ginger. The third ingredient is to cook it!'

Kids have a great time in the trees, and its nice for us all to shake off the cobwebs!!!!

Christmas Eve,
Michael read a beautiful story to boys before bedtime. The excitement was palpable, and the older boys took so long to switch off and fall asleep. For Saul and Aubrey sleep came almost instantly. The image at the top of the stairs was the morning, its our tradition to come down stairs together. Michael had to wake Saul. Reuben had been awake since 4am! We came down to see that Santa had arrived, and everyone was delighted!

Christmas Eve

A very Wonkey Donkey.

Poor donkey met the dog!

Our lovely Nativity set Mum knit.

Christmas preparations!

We set the table today. I'm impressed that I managed to do this, but as the boys re do it and digit over the layout, I think I'll regret my organisation skills!

Meet Oscar

This is Martina's new 8 week old puppy called Oscar Wilde. Such an exquisite ball of fur. Everyone wanted to hold him. The photo isn't great quality as he jumped around so much. He's a blur!

Aubrey, Saul and Fairy.

We had great fun this evening in Martina and Sean's? Three mad kids together!

Saul's `finger collection!`. I thought this was a brilliant expression. It says it as it is!

For Amy

This is a sensory wall Hanging I made for my friend's daughter Amy. I fell in love with it myself! It can be used as a blanket too.
