St Stephen's day

Daddy to the rescue!

We have a family tradition of heading to Donadea Forest Park on St. Stephen's Day.

Off we head with flasks of hot chocolate and marshmallows and our winter wollies and meet up with friends to share a picnic. Today's goodies included smoked salmon and brown bread, mince pies, gingerbread cookies made by Tara and Rose.

We mentioned getting the recipe, and Eoghan said, 'the first thing you need is bread, and the next thing is Ginger. The third ingredient is to cook it!'

Kids have a great time in the trees, and its nice for us all to shake off the cobwebs!!!!

Hi Ciara, thanks for that..... I'm looking foreward to blogging using my Canon, the quality is so much better than my phone. Michael and I spent today photographing an amazing wedding. Gospel choir sang at the church, and we took photos in Charleville Castle,(apparently the most haunted castle in Ireland!) And the reception in a lovely hotel in Tullamore. We really captured the day. Its a wonderful feeling. So many images. Did you get your camera fixed? Annah
